SPX & PROSTHETICS WORKSHOP
WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?
Our Prosthetic Flat Moulding course is designed for beginners delivering an intensive training to learn the basics of creating and sculpting your first prosthetic piece.
WHY TAKE THIS COURSE?
If you’re looking to work in Film and TV and want to extend your skills to the SPX team. This course will give you everything you need to know from basic health and safety, products and applying pieces when working on actors.
WHAT WILL I EXPERIENCE?

- Theory on Film life
- Sculpting flat pieces
- Application on your prosthetic piece
- Colour and shading the prosthetic piece
- Use of different blood, sculpt gels and paint
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
No necessary experience required.
Students over 18 (17yrs will be accepted if turning 18 during the course), subject to satisfactory literacy and numeracy tests, work experience (if applicable) and a strong personal statement.
PROGRESSION
Once Learners have achieved the Prosthetics unit they may progress on to:
