How it works

Blended learning, hands-on at the academy

This is a blended learning course. Theory modules are studied at home online, with assignments set by your tutor. Time at the academy is all about developing your practical skills.

Theory is assessed through portfolios, logbooks and written evaluations; practical skills through hands-on assignments on your peers and on performing arts students. Written assignments and research are required for each unit.

Portfolios are put together in your own study time. We recommend using the days you are not at the academy as private study days, and you are welcome to use the Final Checks facilities during that time. Supplementary classes and tutorials are available if you need extra guidance.
